White flowering Chilean lantern tree 

Alf Robbins is a new Crinodendron variety bred by Ravensberg Nurseries here in Ireland, it is a special selection from seedlings of C. hookerianum ‘Ada Hoffmann’ with pure white flowers, chosen for the stunning combination of deeply incised leaves and bright white flowers. This variety is slow growing and will do well in small gardens.

Site: Requires shelter
Soil: Well drained to lightly damp, requires acid soil
Position: Best in a sunny spot
Season of Interest: Evergreen, Spring to Summer flowers from April to June
Hardiness: Hardy until -10°C
Height & Spread:  1.5m to 2.5m
